Alford sports and social club (the former games room situated on the first floor),
Manchester Road, Warrington, WA1 3NJ.
Meetings will be from 6:45pm to get a drink from the ground floor bar,
​then meetings will start at 7pm until 8.30pm-8.45pm.

​The rates for anyone attending a meeting are £3 (or £1 if you are unemployed). This will help pay for the room hire/club membership. Drinks at the bar will be discounted for the group.

Warrington Support Group for people who stammer is a user-led group that meets monthly to offer support, friendship, encouragement, share learning and hints/tips for improved communication and confidence, share frustrations, day to day challenges and equally our highlights and successes in a safe, patient and understanding environment
 
Our meetings mainly consist of  Group exercises i.e. speaking circle, presentations or one minute topic session, voice projection and handshake introduction, etc. all carried out in a safe and secure environment.  All members have experienced stammering and understand the feelings of isolation and fear​
